Hope Healthcare is offering a new support group, After the Storm: Coping with Disaster, to help the community begin to heal in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Participants will have the opportunity to share their stories, learn ways to cope, and engage with other Southwest Florida residents in a safe, supportive space.
Led by professional counselors, these groups will help participants grieve the missing pieces in their life – whether it’s the loss of a home, beloved pet, business, or priceless treasure – while preparing to rebuild their future.
Hope’s After the Storm support groups are open to the public at no cost, thanks to generous community donations. Advance registration is required.
