Save the date and Shine for a cause in support of Hope Hospice
Shine, a benefit for Hope Hospice, returns at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15 at the historic Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers.
An elegant evening under the stars, Shine will feature riverside cocktails, dining, entertainment and a live auction. The signature fundraiser will support Hope’s mission of providing comforting care to everyone living with serious illness. Shine will be hosted safely, with the appropriate recommended measures in place, to ensure the well-being of all guests.
Once again, State Representative Jenna Persons-Mulicka and former State Senator Lizbeth Benacquisto return as event chairs. More than 250 guests attended the inaugural Shine event in 2019, which raised $440,000 to benefit Hope.
“For 40 years, Hope has been a comforting safety net for all in our community,” said Samira K. Beckwith, president and CEO of Hope Healthcare. “Now more than ever, we rely upon the support of our donors – along with the guests and sponsors of events like Shine – to help ensure there will always be Hope for those who need us.”
Hope Hospice is a not-for-profit health care organization that provides care and comfort to every individual and their loved ones as they fulfill life’s journey. Due to COVID-19, the fundraising events Hope relies upon have not been possible, and expenses have increased in response to the pandemic. However, with your help, Hope can continue to provide care for those who are in life’s final chapter, for all who are grieving, and for seriously ill children and their families.
Tickets for Shine will be available soon! Additionally, Hope has revealed a variety of sponsorship packages for those who wish to support.
