Hope PACE, the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, has expanded participants’ options for safe, convenient rides to physician’s appointments, essential errands, and Hope PACE Care Centers through a new partnership with SendaRide, a concierge non-emergency medical transportation service.
SendaRide’s door-to-door transportation services are paired with state-of-the-art technology that records all rides. PACE participants’ caregivers can stay in contact with the drivers before and during the ride through the SendaRide app.
“Reliable transportation is an essential element of Hope PACE’s personalized approach that helps aging adults at risk for nursing home placement to stay healthy, live independently in the community, and avoid unnecessary hospitalizations for as long as possible,” said Samira K. Beckwith, President and CEO of Hope Healthcare. “SendaRide gives PACE participants and their caregivers peace of mind knowing they will arrive at their destination safely and on time.”
“SendaRide is excited to launch in Florida, and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than Hope PACE,” said SendaRide CEO, Laura Fleet. “Their program is invaluable to local seniors, and we’re happy to be an extension of their comprehensive services.”
