Hope Healthcare President and CEO Samira K. Beckwith was named among the top 100 graduates of the century in the Ohio State University’s College of Social Work. She was recognized for her contributions to shaping the future of the profession in the 100th Anniversary issue of The Stillman, the University’s College of Social Work newsletter.
Beckwith, who earned a master’s degree from OSU in 1977, has led Hope Healthcare for 28 years. She said the opportunity to serve in the hospice field is her greatest accomplishment.
“Being at the bedside shows you that every moment is special and important,” said Beckwith. “I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to make a difference for people.”
