Westminster residents joined us for the final leg of their bus tour of health care providers throughout Lehigh Acres.
Jake from “Del’s Lemonade” made some very tasty drinks for the participants – as well as our hospice patients, staff, volunteers and guests at Hope PACE. Over 50 delicious, cold lemonades were enjoyed on this hot summer day!
Deb Angelicchio spoke to the tour group about Hope’s services and the importance of advance directives, while Lisa Kopp gave an overview of the Hope PACE program. Guests were able to walk through the Hospice House to see the private patient rooms, comforting common areas for family members, the children’s playroom, the chapel and other featured areas of our campus.
Other stops on the tour included the Lehigh Acres Senior Center, Fountain Crest Retirement Community, Brookdale Senior Living, Lehigh Regional Medical Center and Lehigh Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center.
