Hope announces its partnership with CareFlash, a website providing easy and accessible communication aides for patients and families through “CareCommunities.” This private, invitation-only service allows friends and families to stay connected and receive ongoing updates about a loved one.
“Each CareCommunity enables friends and family members to share their hospice experience, privately and at their own pace,” said Hope President and CEO Samira K. Beckwith. “These online tools allow families to focus more time and energy on their loved one by simplifying the process of group communication.”
CareCommunity features include an iHelp interactive calendar, social storytelling, private blogs and photo sharing, which are all available directly from the CareFlash site. After a simple sign-up process, families can create their own personalized community and invite others to join.
“I came up with the idea of CareCommunities in 2006 after a personal loss,” said CareFlash CEO Jay Drayer. “I believe that a family-driven approach to sharing health information provides comfort and peace of mind for everyone involved.”
“We’re proud to partner with Hope on this unique endeavor. They distinguish themselves by providing exceptional care, going above and beyond to provide the best possible experience for their patients and families,” added Drayer.
